Friday Night ...

Hopefully this is one of the last boring friday nights I have in London. I'm in the hotel room now and I think im watching... "watching" Star Trek? British television does not meet my American standards. I think I'm going to go to see Big Ben tonight just because it makes me happy and the only thing that is exciting me right now are the socks i bought.....

Random Fact for the Day

In England they refer to zucchini as courgettes..... and they do not spell hummus like we do in America, they spell it like this: houmous. 

Hummus at the pub!

Today I had dinner at the pub down the street from my student housing.Although they did not have rasberry iced tea, not sure why I even asked, they did have hummus that came with carrots and cucumbers! Very good sign...

Every Blog Has A Purpose

... and this blogs purpose is to update all of my family and friends of my year abroad in London. I'll post exciting things that I've seen or done. Or daily annoyances that I need to vent about... I hope to not bore you all and I hope we all find this very useful to feel closer when the miles between us tell us otherwise.
